Marketing technology and project management don't usually land in the same hands. Most people come from one side or the other: operators who picked up marketing concepts along the way, or marketers who got deep into tools. Mine went through both.

I started in demand generation, moved into operations and systems work, and picked up formal PM and Agile credentials alongside it. PMP, CAPM, PSM I, PSM II, PSPO I. Marketo and Pardot on the platform side.

That combination is what I actually use. I can scope and build the system, and I can manage the project that ships it.

Before I recommend a tool or build a workflow, I want to understand the org first: what "done" actually looks like, where the edges are, what counts as success. Getting that clear upfront is usually the work. The technical part comes after.

I work best when strategy and execution have to live in the same role. I'm direct. I ask a lot of questions early, which tends to mean fewer surprises later. I'd rather surface a constraint in week one than hit a blocker in week eight.

I'm open to Director-level roles where marketing technology and project delivery overlap — the kind of work where you're building the systems that make the rest of marketing function. If that's what you're working on, the best place to reach me is the Connect page.
